گیربکس مکعبی از یک هاب کروی، شافت و بلبرینگ تشکیل شده است و امکان اتصال مستقیم شافت به الکتروموتور در آن وجود دارد.این مدل گیربکس در بازار بنام گیربکس ۹۰ درجه هم شناخته می شود که از نوع گیربکس های دو دنده می باشد.

همانطور که در تصویر زیر مشاهده می کنید  که اجزاء دیگر آن یک ماردون و یک چرخ دنده می باشد که نیروی سینماتیکی خود را از این دو قطعه تامین می کند و از جنس فولاد یا برنج تولید می شود.

گیربکس مکعبی از یک محور و یک چرخ دنده برنزی  حلزونی شکل با مقاومت بالا، جهت استحکام و پایداری در شرایط سخت به وجود می آید. این نوع گیربکس از یک هاب کروی، شافت و بلبرینگ تشکیل شده است و امکان اتصال مستقیم شافت به الکتروموتور وجود دارد.

جنس بدنه این گیربکس ها غالبا از چدن و یا آلومینیوم می باشد و دارای مقاومت بالایی در برابر لرزش و تکانهای دستگاه را دارد.کوچکترین تیپ این نوع گیربکس ها موسوم به تیپ 30 و بزرگترین آنها تیپ 130 می باشد.

کمترین قدرت قابل استفاده در این نوع گیربکس 0.09 کیلو وات و بیشترین قدرت 7/5 کیلو وات می باشد.
